Unassisted Flying
I strive to have students feel 100% pure cause and effect created by their body positions & movements. I achieve this by building strong fundamentals and teaching them the skills necessary to fly out of potentially unsafe situations. This allows me to remain hands-off as much as possible creating independent and confident flyers.
Goal-Setting
I guide students to set their own SMART goals that align their sky and tunnel efforts. Instead of being on the receiving end, they are integrated into the process of planning their own progression.
Efficiency & Focus
As you gain more skills, you unlock a broader range of practice areas. It can be challenging to maintain focus and it becomes easier to find yourself on a plateau. I aim to teach flyers how to identify critical gaps in their skills and attack them with laser focus.
Enjoying the Journey
Becoming a highly skilled flyer is a long process. I believe that learning to enjoy flying and jumping with your current skill set is just as important as learning new individual skills. It hurts me to see people burn out in this sport that I love. Sometimes we just need to turn around and enjoy the view from where we’ve made it to motivate ourselves to take those next hard steps up the mountain.
